普通的用户可能不太会用到TFTP，但技术人员就不一样了。特别是嵌入式开发人员，或者需要通过TFTP升级固件的IT人员，可能会经常用到TFTP。
按下面步骤，可以很快捷地在CentOS6下搭建起一个TFTP服务。其实过程很简单，只需要用yum安装几个软件包，配置一下，并激活一下服务就可以了。
1. 安装TFTP服务：
#yum install tftp-server
2. 安装Xinetd服务，TFTP服务是通过xintd运行的，所以需要安装Xinetd
#yum install xinetd
3. 配置
编辑vim /etc/xinetd.d/tftp文件，
修改下表中的两个地方：server_args为你自己的TFTPBOOT目录，即FTP文件的根目录；缺省情况下，是禁用TFTP服务的，所以把disable的值改为no。

4. 设置TFTPBOOT的访问权限：
#chmod 777 /tftpboot
5. 激活Xinetd和Xinetd
#chkconfig tftp on
#chkconfig xinetd on
# service xinetd start
6. 测试一下
